The new version of WOG O.S.K. (version 1.0.4) adds the ability to interact with other apps, bug fixes to typing into the text area in App Mode and 57 programmable quick keys that you can store any text you'd like.
This is a big enhancement over the old version.
You can post any topic related to WOG O.S.K. here and talk directly with the developer.

How do I get into App Mode?
And is there an easier way to copy paste what I write in there?

From the "slider" keyboard, press the orange func key then the rocket key on the bottom right.
This opens app mode and you can turn the phone left, right, upside down or right side up, or over and well, whatever, it will respond to you changing the position of the phone and either pop up a landscape or portrait keyboard in response.

You can type in the text field, scroll it, tap anywhere in it and edit (backspace works just fine in app mode) and then use an icon to perform a task or just backswipe to close it.

If you close it, your text is copied to the clipboard. Pop up the slider board in front of your app and (the keyboard should already have shift on) press the clipboard icon on the bottom left of the keyboard. If you have lower case letters showing, press the up arrow to shift and then press the clipboard icon.

Hope that helps!

Wow - I looked everywhere on the Help screens and there are no instructions as to how to bring up the app mode. Finally found it here. You might want to add that to the Help. Also, Help mentions that the 'updated' app is 1.4.0 when I think it means 1.0.4. Took me a few visits to the app store and then to this site and forum before I figured that out.

This app has potential, but I think the "key popping out as you type it" feature needs to be incorporated otherwise it's just not a good experience. Or at the very least make the buttons light up (stay lit for a split second after you tap one) to give me feedback that I typed the right key.

I still prefer the Virtual Keyboard (on Preware) but definitely would like to see a supported app. Keep up the development, it's good work so far.

The quick keys alone is worth the $2.49.

Thanks Gary, I just updated the help section to have a link to App Mode and the 1.0.4 bit - THANKS!

I'm already working on the popping out keys and should be able to get that into the next update.
